ETS moving data to OneDrive this summer
This summer, ETS will be completing the transition of all remaining content from individual Windows home folders (\\files.uvm.edu\home\netid) to Microsoft OneDrive for Business. Individuals’ files and folders will be copied to a folder within their UVM OneDrive named “FilesFromWinhome”, and the original home folder will be made read-only.

New Microsoft Teams app coming in early January
Microsoft has released a new version of the Teams app that provides new features and much improved performance. UVM is deploying this new version of the Teams app in early January, prior to the start of the semester. We’ve added a Knowledge Base article describing the experience of switching to the new Teams app.
Course Teams Update for Winter-Spring 2024
We will create Microsoft Teams for each Winter-Spring 2024 Brightspace course space starting on Thursday, December 14th. While most courses will be meeting in person, many faculty and students have expressed interest in using course teams for collaboration and discussion outside of class meetings.
