Alex serves as the Graduate Assistant for the Women and Gender Equity Center. In this role, she manages the center’s food pantry in addition to planning programs such as Crafternoons. Alex is a graduate student in UVM’s Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) program.
Alex has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Gender, Sexuality, & Women’s Studies and Social & Ethnic Relations from UC Davis. Prior to working at UVM, Alex was a community coordinator at UC Davis’ LGBTQIA+ Resource Center, where she created events to support queer and trans students. Alex is passionate about building a diverse and inclusive community that fosters belonging and acceptance.
