UVM's ability to successfully advance its mission is dependent on how fully it values, engages and includes the rich diversity of its whole community. UVM's four identity centers provide space and resources essential to the development of community and a culture of belonging.

Building Belonging

The Identity Centers provide a sense of belonging to students, faculty, and staff by connecting people with resources and engaging programs uniquely designed to support the UVM community. Their work reflects the intersectionality and diversity of experience and thought integral to the heart of the institution.

Creating Change

As the world changes, so do the needs of our students. At the front line of student experience, our Identity Centers help the Office of the Vice Provost identify barriers and successes that inform policy and systemic change.

Interfaith Center

Inclusive of any individual’s religion, spirituality, or faith, the Interfaith Center supports wholistic development while navigating the complexity of living in a pluralistic world.
