Tropical Storm Beryl pushed into Vermont on July 10 and 11 causing catastrophic flooding and damage to roads, bridges, and buildings. 

UVM Extension provides the resources and information on this page to assist Vermonters in recovering from this current natural disaster. 

These materials have been developed by UVM Extension experts as well as our local, state and federal agency partners.

REPORT ALL DAMAGE - Visit the State of Vermont Flood Damage form website or call 211 for assistance

CALL the Vermont Crisis Cleanup Hotline at 802-242-2054 to request assistance with cleanup

Flood-impacted wells and springs: The Vermont Department of Health offers free bacteria testing kits.  Order a kit online or call 802-338-4724 or 800-660-9997 (toll-free in Vermont) to request one.

Vermont 211 resources/assistance: Get help, sign up as a clean up volunteer, donate funds, find agricultural resources, and more

How You Can Help

Vegetable and Berry Research and Extension Gift Fund:  Donations to UVM's vegetable and berry research and extension gift fund help the support recovery of flooded farms by paying the cost of soil testing to guide replanting decisions, and by providing free cover crop seeds to restore soil health in flooded fields.
