Jennifer brings 25 years of experience in higher education to UVM from a variety of institutions including SUNY Geneseo, Western Illinois University, Georgetown University, Sterling College, and Semester at Sea. She shares her passion for welcoming and elevating students throughout her career in various leadership positions, most recently as the Director of Student Affairs at the Vermont Campus of Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Jennifer holds a B.A. in Psychology with a Minor in Organizational and Occupational Behavior from the State University of New York, Geneseo, and an M.S. in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Administration with a Concentration in Outdoor Adventure Education from Western Illinois University.
Jennifer is a collaborative leader who enjoys connecting with a wide variety of constituents across the campus to support students on their journey to degree completion. She leads the orientation team to develop one of the critical foundation blocks of retention, an engaging and inclusive orientation. She also works in partnership with a variety of campus partners to creatively and strategically implement data-driven ideas that will help attain retention goals and enhance student advancement. Jennifer's skills and experience are central to the development of programs and services that impact persistence.
