The College of Education and Social Services Student Advisory Board (SAB) is an advisory body of CESS student leaders, who in collaboration with the college, undergraduate students, and members of the Senior Leadership Team, form a reciprocal relationship to discuss, shape, inform, celebrate, and assess the College of Education and Social Services priorities.
The SAB has the role and responsibility of representing the CESS mission, priorities, and the diverse and collective ideas, concerns, and recommendations of the undergraduate student body within the college. Collectively, the SAB introduces, frames, and elevates student voices as well as CESS and student priorities within CESS through representation, curiosity, collaboration, deliberative dialogues, data-informed proposals or recommendations, and vetted tactics. SAB members also serve as ambassadors for the CESS community.
