BIO

Primary research activities have focused on the form and function of the Cytoskeleton of Eukaryotic Cells.  These studies were undertaken with a view to understanding tissue remodeling during injury and disease.  Specific areas of interest include the epidermis, skeletal cardiac and smooth muscle and especially the development, differentiation and remodeling of lung. Teaching activities have included: Introductory life science for the non-major (Biol003/004), for mixed majors (Biol 001/002) and for Life science majors (BCOR11/12); BCOR 103 Molecular and Cell Biology; Biol 255 Comparative Animal Physiology; Biol 296 Advanced Cell Biology.
