Work-life balance is the name of the game for me. That's one reason why I've spent the last 15 years working at UVM and living in this beautiful state. I enjoy socializing with friends and being active outside whether it's through running, hiking, snowboarding, XC skiing, or being out on the water on my stand-up paddle board. When I moved here, I met my best friend and now husband, Dan, and together we adopted two cats and two elephants. Yes, elephants – Kerrio and Rapa, through the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. I may be a seasoned Career Coach and now the Assistant Director for Networking, but I have a passion for animals and wildlife conservation, which I studied as an undergraduate at UMASS-Amherst. If you're a wildlife enthusiast like me, you should check out the Sheldrick Trust; they've been leading the way in effective wildlife conservation management practices within Kenya for years.
