BIO
Anne Marchetti is a Lecturer in the Grossman School of Business at the University of Vermont. Anne earned her undergraduate degree from Providence College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a MS - Accounting from the University of Hartford and a DBA-Accounting Concentration from Walden University.
Prior to teaching, Anne worked in public accounting as well as private industry. She spent most of her professional career working for a consulting firm where she provided accounting advisory services internationally to organizations of all sizes, both public and private, in a variety of industries.
Before her academic career at UVM, Anne taught undergraduate and graduate accounting courses for 10 years at Ave Maria University. Her extensive professional experience allows her to bring real world knowledge and examples to the classroom. In addition, Anne is a long-term member of the AICPA faculty lecturing nationwide on a variety of topics including Audit, Internal Controls and Fraud.
Anne is originally from Connecticut. She currently resides in Southwest Florida.
