ASL Interpreter Services / CART
The University of Vermont Interpreter Services provides certified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting and transliteration services for eligible students, staff and faculty who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Interpreter Services also provides certified ASL interpreters or CART services for campus events, upon request.
The University of Vermont also provides Protactile interpreters for members of the Deafblind community, on request.
Requests for ASL interpretation, Protactile interpretation, or CART services must be submitted a minimum of two-weeks in advance of the request date, using the online Interpreter Request Form.
