For the CDAE 106 internship, I worked with Allan Bullis. Allan works as an energy auditor. Throughout the internship I shadowed Allan on several energy audits, learning how to install and run a blower door

tests and using the infrared camera. Air leaks can be seen using the infrared camera, and recommendations are made the homeowners on where insulation or better air sealing is needed. With other students

from the class, also interning with Allan the group Common Sense Energy was formed. Common Sense Energy is a group that is aiming to spread knowledge about basic energy saving practices and energy

in general. Outreach to the community was done mainly by tabling in the Davis center.
