DISADVANTAGE DEMOCRACY

This disadvantage argues that the world has seen a wave of democratization which has now subsided as democracy all oveer the world is in a stage of consolidation. Now is a critical time to support democracy to avoid backsliding into global auithoritarianism. When the affirmative deals with and satisfies (such as lifting sanctions) a non-cemocratic nsatiuon, the USA sends a sterong signal that democracy is not that important and the world slides back towards authoritarianmism.
