IRAN REPRESENTS A MISSILE THREAT

Iran is buying and developing ballistic missiles. It has flight- tested an intermediate range Shahab-3 missile and within the decade it could test a missile capable of reaching all of Europe's major cities. Iran has chemical weapons and is seeking nuclear and biological strength.

These assertions have not been believed and a report published recently by the U.S. intelligence community reportedly states that Iran could test an ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile) that could deliver a several-hundred kg payload to many parts of the U.S. in the latter half of the next decade. This report also states that the Iranian missiles would be able to carry nuclear war-heads.
