At the UVM Writing Center , you can work on your writing with students from a variety of disciplines who are experienced writers and trained tutors.
Our Philosophy: We see the Writing Center as a place for collaboration between students, a place where peer tutors help students help themselves. This process happens mostly through conversation, so we try to create a comfortable, confidential, intellectually stimulating atmosphere, a place of thought. We hope this collaborative process results not only in better papers but also in better writers.
