The UVM Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Program (GSWS) is an interdisciplinary program devoted to the study of gender and sexuality as fundamental categories of social and cultural analysis. Gender and sexuality are studied as social systems, identities, discourses, and institutions that intersect with other systems including class, race, ethnicity, disability, and nationality.
