95 College Street

This red brick Italianate style building is still in excellent condition.  The building is two stories with a three-by-two bay and has its entrance in the front façade.  There are small lintels over the windows, as well as an ocular window over the second story of the building.  The building is now used for office space, and has an addition placed in the back.

1n 1886, there were three different people residing in this home.  Geo. Stone, who was a clerk at J. R. Booth, Wm. H. Stone, who was a clerk at Wells, Richardson and Company, and finally Adele Cusson, who was employed at M. H. Stone.[1]  In 1901, there were two people residing at the house, Pearl D. Blodgett and Curtis Andrews.[2]  In 1906, there were two people living in the home, George W. Shannon and E. H. Metcalf.  George W. Shannon worked for Burlington Beef Company, and E. H. Metcalf worked as a circulation agent for the Burlington Free Press.[3]  By looking at the number of different owners during such a small time period, there can be an assumption that this home was used as a rental property for the increasing population growth.
