Poplar Street stretches from Park Street to North Champlain Street.  The character of the street seems to have remained the same, it seems almost timeless.  The street is not often visited by cars, except by the residents of the block.  The houses along the street are similar in scale and style and seem to have been altered very little on the primary exterior facade.

            Poplar Street has been home to many people over the past 130 years, and shall continue to in the future.  The street has been graced by a harness shop, skilled workers, laborers and families.  The residents appear to care greatly for their homes, as indicated by the maintenance and care given them.
