What still stands from between 1869 and 1877 in Burlington, Vermont?
Myrtle Street stretches from Park Street to North Champlain Street. A large portion of this street reamined unsettled during this period. The south side of the block only had three buildings standing on it [1] , two of them facing the adjoining streets. The majority of the buildings that appear on the map of the period of significance were constructed during this time.
This street saw little construction following this time, but those structures that survive from this period are in good condition and have survived few significant changes. The street probably looks much as it did in 1890 [2] as indicated by the footprints of the buildings and the structures that stand today.
