Oyez! Oyez!

Image of a trumpeter Come one and all to a day of revelry among the Mountains of the Freehold! Be there as the splendors of Byzantium combine with the glory of the Germanic Tribes to create a unified reign. The day's activities include a Challenge Tourney (pick a partner, go fight, the winner receives two points, the loser one), A&S Display, Performing Arts, Children's Activities and of course the crowning of our new royalty!

The site is the Mount Mansfield High School, located about 25 minutes from Burlington VT. (See maps for details.) It opens at 10 am and closes at 10 p.m. and is completely dry. There are showers on site.

There will be a lunch board provided for all gentles on site, and a sumptuous feast for 150 gentles will be prepared by Lady Livia Vindolanda. (Contact her for dietary questions at (802) 644-6657 or lynn_m_short@hotmail.com). The cost is $20 on board, $10 offboard and the only reservation is a paid one. Reservations are to be sent to the troll, Baron Cenwulf (Bill Gillen, 1436 Williston Rd., S. Burlington VT 05403 (802) 864-6087 or wgillen1@ aol.com). A tentative schedule of activities is: Last Court of their Majesties, Hanse and Moruadh at 11 a.m.; First Court of their Highnesses, Lucan and Marieke at 3 p.m.; Feast begins at 6 p.m.

Merchants are welcome at no charge except for table rental ($8 per 8ft. table). If you are interested in merchanting, please contact the autocrat, Matsura Ishido.

8th century beastsThere will be camping space available about two miles from the site. This is also the site for the post-revel, which is not dry, so pitch your tent and come on in! Limited crash space is also available there. For those not inclined to rough it, there are several hotels within 30 minutes of the site.
