2.       Mary E. Root, b. 06 December 1838 in Goshen, VT, d. 17 July 1870, m. Alonzo Worcester.  He later remarried to Ellen I. Kinsman.

3.       Samuel Stillman Root, b. 26 June 1840 in Goshen, VT, d. 1930, m. Lois Ella McDuffee who was b. 1848 and d. 1911.

NOTES Mary Jones, was a half-sister to “Mrs. Lovina McAlister” and therefore a half first cousin to “Mrs. Permelia Brink.”  Benjamin Jones’ second wife, after Jemima Boynton, was Mary Adams, who died in 1850.
