MARRIED William P. Whitney, 22 September 1852.  The son of Oliver Whitney and Rebecca Nichols, he was born 12 February 1825.  He served as a private in the 2nd Vermont Light Artillery from 1862-1865.

NOTES Niece of "Mrs. Sarah A. Whitney" and "Mrs. Almina K. Carr" (Roxy’s father Dura Kinsman was the son of Moses Kinsman and Abigail Wood, and hence the brother of Sarah Ann (Kinsman) Whitney and Almina (Kinsman) Carr.).

Roxy's husband William P. Whitney was the brother of Joshua Whitney, who married Roxy's aunt, Sarah Ann Kinsman.
