Vermont Infantry, discharged 06 May 1865. Taken prisoner of war 23 June 1864 at Weldon Railroad,
paroled 01 March 1865. Died 11 September
1914. Buried
in Pine Hill Cemetery, Brandon, Rutland County, Vermont.

Carr, b. 03 November 1845,
d. 13 November 1864 in Winchester, Virginia. Enlisted 23 August 1864 as a private in
Company H, 11th Vermont Infantry (1st Vermont Heavy Artillery). Wounded at the battle of Cedar Creek 19 October
1864. Died of wounds the following month. Buried in Pine Hill
Cemetery, Brandon, Rutland County, Vermont.
