1850 Rochester, Windsor County, VT (dwelling 125).  A widowed Hannah Brown is living in the household of her niece Permelia Brink and husband Horace.

The quilt inscription reads:  “Mrs. Hannah J. Brown, West Roceshter, Vt, Goodness, Honor, Peace, Charity, and happiness, Ae 75 years, died April the 5 1851.”

The print fabric used in this block is identical to that used by “Mrs. Miriam Smith.”
