Zelda the Cat

Here is our cat Zelda. She is an inquisitive, 8 year old, muted tortoise shell female whom we love dearly. She is, technically, our son’s cat. Chase, who is a UVM student, resuced her from the Chittenden County Humane Society in 2013 as a 4 month old kitten, aptly named “Bolt” by the volunteers. He named her Zelda, after the Princess Warrior character. Of course, she quickly became the loved family pet. She loves her routines which include, lap lounging, respectfully ;) waiting for treats when she scratches her post or gets her nails trimmed, and carrying stuffies around the house when no one is looking. She also loves “hiding” behind/in curtains. She has loved us being home during the pandemic and rotates between our places of work/study.
