PhD in Natural Resources

I am a biologist in the Morales-Williams lab studying phytoplankton ecology and ecosystem function. My current interests focus on how small scale, biochemical factors enact large scale, dynamic changes in aquatic systems. I am originally from Maine and have received both my B.S. and M.S. in Biology from the University of Southern Maine. My previous research at USM and the Marine Biology Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA has involved cyanobacterial bloom dynamics, lake biogeochemistry, oxidative stress, algal biochemistry, and advanced microscopy techniques. In my free time I enjoy knitting, baking, gardening, and paddle boarding.

Prospective graduate students interested in learning more about research and experiences in the Rubenstein School may contact me.
