As part of the Division of Academic Affairs and Student Success, UVM GO is a Pre-Orientation Program for incoming first-year students that focuses on global learning, developing intercultural knowledge and skills, and building community. Each experience allows students to develop their awareness of global issues and make connections in their community and beyond.

It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with UVM faculty, staff, alumni, and local experts – all while having fun and making new friends!

Each summer, UVM GO International and UVM GO Cities offer travel opportunities in a variety of destinations, led by UVM faculty members with extensive experience in the location and program theme. UVM GO Community programs are offered in partnership with the Residential Learning Communities, and students move into their on-campus housing three days before New Student Orientation to explore the greater Burlington area.

See what UVM GO participants have to say about their experience!
