Hi, I’m Jamie (she/her)! I am currently a junior ENVS major with a double minor in Food Systems and Agroecology. I’m originally from San Rafael, CA, so moving across the country was very daunting. However, I’m so grateful to feel so intertwined in the community here. I wanted to join this fellowship to better understand what Agroecology could offer the agricultural industry. Whole foods have been a huge part of my understanding of health and wellness, so I am eager to get closer to the farming aspect of the food system. I believe transdisciplinary teaching methods are a key part of education, and this course is a major stepping stone towards expanding local knowledge to a broader audience.
