Educational Consultant (South Burlington School District employee)

Lisa is the Northwest Region Educational Consultant for the Vermont I-Team. She has been working with students with special needs and their families in both school and home settings for the past 16 years. She has taught across the continuum of placements from a 1:1 discrete trial school for children with Autism, to a center based preschool program and most recently as case manager and special educator for students with low incidence disabilities at the Shelburne Community School for the past six years.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Psychology from Castleton State College, a Masters of Science degree in Special Education from Hunter College, and is completing the Assistive Technology Certificate program at University of New Hampshire.

She strives to educate students to their fullest potential with meaningful social and academic learning opportunities with the goal of making their lives more fulfilling, productive and enjoyable.

Lisa is employed by the South Burlington School District in partnership with Vermont I-Team.
