Jackie taking a lunch break covered in paint.

"I worked as a Forestry Technician with Greenleaf Forestry, a consulting company in Vermont, and the jobs we did varied on a daily basis from invasive plant removal, tree health surveys, erosion ad culvert condition surveys, crop tree release, trail making, forest management plans, Current Use applications, and much more. This day was boundary line painting. I used a handheld GPS to follow the marked boundary line of a privately owned property in Bolton, Vermont, painting blaze marks on the line and side trees along the edge of their property. I carried two gallons of red boundary paint while bushwhacking along a stone wall, resulting in lots of slipping and spillage. I worked from the roadside in until I reached the end of the property then turned around to head back for lunch. I followed a deer path through a field of grass taller than me for 20 minutes until I was back at my car. My face had much more paint on it right before I took this picture, but I wiped some off to decrease the amount I might ingest. After my lunch I had a small stretch left to mark on the opposite side of the road before I would be done for the day. Once finished I changed out of my paint covered clothes, put them in a trash bag, and drove back to Burlington sitting on a tarp."
