Protocols for exporting files from

AUDACITY

·       When exporting a file to Kenneth.nalibow@uvm.edu in AUDACITY go >FILE,  then go to >EXPORT AS MP-3.  Place your name in front of the MP-3 designation in the SAVE box followed by the number of the assignment.  (ken2.mp3 = assignment #2)  Click the DESK TOP icon.

·       Using NETSCAPE or EXPLORER, Open the UVM File Transfer http://www.uvm.edu/filetransfer/ 

·       Click “Send file from UVM”

·       When the page opens, fill in my e-mail in the first window.  Click BROWSE and locate the file you named.  DOUBLE-CLICK that file and it will appear in the second window of the file transfer page.

·       Type whatever you want for "description." 

·       When you click DOWNLOAD, the program will tell you that the file has been transferred successfully OR that ZERO items have been transferred.
