Der Gerechte kömmt um,
Und niemand ist, der es zu Herzen nehme;
Und heilige Leute werden aufgerafft,
Und niemand achtete darauf.
Denn die Gerechten werden weggerafft vor dem Unglück;
Und die richtig vor sich gewandelt haben,
Kommen zum Frieden und ruhen in ihren Kammern.

Now the just man is lost,
And no one is there who to heart will take it;
And reverent people now are taken off,
And no one takes notice of it.
For all the righteous are now brought away from misfortune;
And those who have been just in all their conduct
Come unto peace and find rest within their own chambers.
